Chief von Casekow is a gorgeous 3-4 year old German Shepherd.  Handsome Chief is looking for his own commander-in-chief who is experienced with German Shepherds, and can provide him calm leadership, a steady routine, and time to establish a relationship. A home without a lot of visitors would be best. He knows his commands and just needs someone to keep up his training. During his walks, he prefers to be grouped with calmer pups and, during group playtime, he mingles best among the tranquil types; he will stand his ground with the pushy ones. He is housebroken, enjoys water, and he loves playing with his toys. He is looking for a home without a cat or children. He needs a calm, confident owner, someone who gently guides him, no snuggles in bed or lots of kisses. He is a working dog and needs someone he respects. and who will set boundaries for him. We see Chief strolling by daily with different volunteers, but he has been waiting for just the right person to take him home!
